DIY Headboard

We recently tried our first Ana White building project and made ourselves a headboard for our master bedroom. We have not had a headboard at all since switching over to a King size bed a few years ago. Building it was a family affair and the boys loved helping.
Here it is all built waiting for stain.
We stained it walnut and I just love the way it turned out!
Here it is in our room…there is a ton of work to be done on the master but most of it will have to wait until we move.
I also made a headboard but found that is wiggled a lot once attached to a metal frame. How did you attach your headboard to the frame?
Attach it to the wall, not your bed. That works much better.
