Thanksgiving Tablescape
Get inspired with an autumn table setting perfect for Thanksgiving!

I have a confession: the entire house is decorated for Christmas with the exception of the dining room. I’m keeping this little haven of autumn until after Thanksgiving and then it will get the treatment too!
Even though Thanksgiving this year will be just our family of five, I didn’t want to skip setting the table as I would if we were having guests. It just didn’t seem right. So we’re pulling out the china and fancy cutlery and welcoming Thanksgiving to the table.

A few years ago my aunt passed along to me my grandmother’s china. As soon as I saw it I knew it would be my go-to for Thanksgiving especially. The pattern just screams fall.

The gold rimmed plates are accented perfectly with some inexpensive gold chargers.

It also go beautifully with my late mother-in-law’s gold cutlery. I love the bamboo handles, so funny how trends seem to recycle themselves over the years.

The table throw is a recent purchase from Pottery Barn, my husband loved it and it does fit the room very well. (It’s on clearance now too!)

For the centerpiece I started with a marble tray (also from Pottery Barn) and added a lot of varying height white votives and candles in clear hurricanes. It was pretty inexpensive and with the help of some faux greenery I had leftover from a previous season’s wreath I think it turned out pretty nice!

The entire table is pretty simple but works well together. I was happy with the final look, for some reason the dining room is the hardest room in the house for me to get “right” when decorating.

Oh, and before I leave you I have to show you a close up of those amazing glasses. My stepmother gave them to me for Christmas last year and they are just beautful!

They are called coupe glasses and they have the most beautiful and elegant etching on them. I ❤️ them so much!

Thanks for popping by for a little Thanksgiving inspiration! I can’t wait to show you the Christmas decor soon, my husband bought me a 12 foot tree last year on clearance after the holidays and it has been a BLAST decorating it!
