Home Tour: Artsy Chicks Rule
Get ready for a coastal chic home full of beautiful DIYs and thrifty finds as we tour the home of Nancy of the blog Artsy Chicks Rule!
Many of the home tours I’ve been sharing have been from bloggers I’ve been friends with for a long time, some since I began blogging on my other blog The Happier Homemaker in 2011. Nancy from Artsy Chicks Rule is one of those bloggers.
Nancy lives in Hampton Roads, Virginia where I grew up and where my mom and my kid’s godparents still live today. It’s a lovely area! Nancy and her family purchase a 1970’s home that had not been updated and over the years she has transformed it inside and out with thrift store finds and LOTS of DIY projects!
Let’s take a look…
I love how Nancy incorporates a coastal feel into her home without being cliché. The light blue tone of the island cabinetry is perfection!
I am in love with the hairpin legs on her coffee table, and don’t get me started on that painting!
A coffee station is on my wish list. It’s such a great idea to use an upcycled dresser to house everything.
Every bit of this dining room calls to me! The built in shelves, the wicker chairs. Again she pulls off coastal subtlety and with so much style!
This space makes you want to cozy up with a good book, doesn’t it?
This is just the tip of the iceberg with Nancy’s home…you HAVE to check out all of her rooms and definitely see all of the amazing DIY projects she shares!
Thankyou so much for sharing our home, Melissa! xo
